EOTech OPMOD EXPS2 Holographic
Hi, I'm Steve Le din with Optics Planet and I'd like to explain to you a couple of the really neat features about the OPMOD EXPS2 holographic weapon sight made for us exclusively by EOTech. The OPMOD holographic weapon sight uses a single transverse CR123 battery and it's cantilevered so it only needs about two inches of mounting surface leaving you a lot more room for other accessories like night vision and magnifiers. It has side buttons for illumination and it has a seven millimeter raised base with a quick release lever. It instantly attaches to any AR-15 type platform or virtually anything with an a pica tinny or weaver style rail.
You would place it for your optimum application. In this case I may want to use one of the excellent EOTech G23 magnifiers which also has flip-to-side, you have the best of both worlds but the OPMOD EOTech requires no specific eye relief distance, so you can put it from a couple inches away to your eye or all the way down to the end of your rail. This particular OPMOD EOTech EXPS2 has a 65 minute of angle (MOA) pixelatedred circle to draw your eye towards the single circle in the center. It's very quick, it's very fast, and it's very clean with a super wide peripheral vision. You can be easily take this off some kind of defensive firearm like this AR 15 or for hunting coyotes, varmints, other creatures like that and place it on a shotgun platform like this Remington 1100 that I use for deer. It also easily attaches to any handgun and it's certainly rugged enough to stand to withstand the recoil of larger caliber guns like this Freedom Arms in a. 454 caliber. The OPMOD EOTech sight is waterproof down to thirty three feet it adjusts in 1/4 inch increments with the use of a coin or a spent cartridge case or even your fingernail. The OPMOD Sight is one of the most versatile and rugged and recoil proof designs that you can buy you only have to buy one once,it'll last you a lifetime.
